National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW): Recognition of Research Talents

Postdoc Appreciation Week is coming!

The idea of Postdoc Appreciation Week is to acknowledge, recognise, and celebrate all the hard work that postdocs and researchers dedicate to research, teaching, mentoring, outreach, and so much more! This year, a group of postdocs and researchers development officers from different institutions across the country have come together and planned the first ever series of National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW) events – two free online events open to all researchers from all institutions in UK and Republic of Ireland.

Event 1: #Recognition of Research Talents, 21 Sept, 1-2.30pm

Join us for a fun and upbeat event to kickstart a week of celebrations! Sara Shinton (University of Edinburgh) will highlight what the fantastic careers researchers achieve both within and without academia, followed by a session in identifying and exemplifying transferable skills of researchers with Chris Humphrey (Jobs on Toast) along with singing and laughter from award-winning BBC presenter Emer Maguire!
